ZAO "MEDSIL" is a leading Russian producer of medical tubes. We produce tubes made from silicone rubber, polyvinylchloride (PVC), polyurethane. Under the order of the tubes internal and outside diameters should be indicated, for example, TSM 8/10 – tube silicone medical, internal diameter 8 mm, outside diameter 10 mm (wall thickness is 1 mm).

Silicone rubber tubes

Silicone rubber (silicone) has some unique  properties,  predefining effective application of the products made from it in such fields as medicine, food industry, electrical engineering  and others. Our company produce a  wide range of silicone tubes for the various application. Diameters: from 0,8 to 30 mm. Wall thickness: from 0,3 mm and higher. Operating rate of temperature: from -60° to +300°Ñ (for any methods of temperature sterilization). Silicone tubes withstand a pressure  up to 2 atm. To avoid an adherence under conditions of  negative pressure, the thickness of the wall and the hardness of the material are to be increased. We produce the following tubes: transparent roentgenocontrast color It is possible an individual choice of the color and transparent degree. Our tubes have 3 numbers of Shore-A hardness : soft: 45-55 middle hardness: 56-65 solid: 66-75 The number of the hardness of the tubes. Under the customer’s request we can present  test results of tension  under elongation up to  100%, breaking strength and rupture for each number of hardness.

Single-lumen silicone medical tubes (TSM)

These single-lumen silicone medical tubes are used for the manufacturing drainage devices for general surgical application, as well as for blood transfusion of blood substitutes, liquids or liquor and also for manufacturing of parts and components of pumps and pumping devices.
Diameters: from 0,8 to 30 mm.
Wall thickness: from 0,3 mm and higher.

Multi-lumen silicone medical tubes (ÒÌÌÊ)

Multi-lumen silicone medical tubes are used for the irrigation/lavage and suction procedures (the big channel is used for suction and the small one – for irrigation).
ÒÌÌÊ ¹ 18 – outside diameter 6 mm; internal diameter (small channel)= 1,3 mm.
ÒÌÌÊ ¹ 24 – outside diameter 8 mm, internal diameter (small channel= 1,3 mm.
ÒÌÌÊ ¹ 27 – outside diameter 9 mm, internal diameter (small channel)=1,3 mm.
ÒÌÌÊ ¹ 30 – outside diameter 10 mm, internal diameter (small channel=1,5 mm.

ÒÌÌÊ ¹ 33 – outside diameter 11 mm, internal diameter (small channel)=1,5 mm.

Dual-lumen silicone drainage tubes (ÒDS)

These dual-lumen silicone drainage tubes are used for suction, irrigation and lavage with air inflow including peritoneal lavage for treatment of purulent peritonitis (N.N. Kanshin’s intubation technique). The channels are separated from each other by a longitudinal diametric partition wall having a special hole for connecting two channels. The lateral walls of the channels are perforated.

The length of the tubes TDS: 30 or 50 cm.
Diameters of the tubes TDS: 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33 or 36 mm. The tubes TDS usually have 5 lateral holes.

Reinforced silicone tubes ÒSÀ, ÒSÀ ÌB

These tubes consist of internal and outside layers made from silicone rubber and interjacent braiding made from industrial fibre.

Outside diameter of the tubes- up to 12 mm (tubes of the bigger diameters are under development).
Operating internal pressures: 10-15 atm and higher. Under the testing internal presser of 30 àòì  outside  diameter of the tubes is getting bigger in 5-15 % (depending on an initial size).
Tubes are flexible, withstand bending and multiple unbending.

Tubes can be delivered in cut length and in coils (20-40 m).

Depending on type of used silicone rubber, tubes are produced in the following modification:

Sanitation tubes ÒSÀ
(ÒÓ (specifications) 9398-038-18037666-2004)

These tubes are used for the transportation of various gas and liquid mediums under the pressure, including potable and purified water âîäû (sanitation reports ¹¹ 77.01.12.939.Ò.26016.11.4. è 77.01.12.939.Ï.26017.11.4 îò 19.11.2004), and also may be used for transportation of ÿ physiological, vitamin, medicamental, food mediums and others.

Temperature range: -60 (with bending)/+150 - 200°Ñ;

Tubes withstand multiple sterilization.

Tubes made from polyvinylchloride (PVC)

Outside diameter: from 1 mm;
Internal diameter: up to 6,5 mm.
Temperature range: from -30° up to +60°Ñ (not intended for temperature sterilization).

Withstand pressure from 5 up to 7 atm. (depending on wall thickness).

Under long-time contact with water PVC looses its elasticity (water elutriates plasticizer). Service life of PVC (under the contact with water) is up to an year. Advantages of the tubes made from PVC  – shirt lead time and manufacturing simplicity, low price.

Tubes made from polyurethane

Diameters: up to 6,5 mm.
Temperature range: from -30° to +60°Ñ (not intended for temperature sterilization).

Withstand pressure from 5 to 7 atm. (depending on wall thickness).

It is possible to produce roentgenocontrast tubes (usually opaque). We produce tint tubes with various degree of transparence.
