Ophthalmology - Eye Surgery
Balloon catheter made of silicone rubber for extrascleral surgery of retinal detachment.
Developed by JSC MEDSIL in cooperation with the Moscow Scientific-Research Institute of Eye Diseases (MD T. A. Bagdasarova)
NEW !
 |
Balloon catheters are intended for surgical scleroplastic operations for detached retina treatment.
The catheter consists of:
- catheter tube from silicone rubber
- balloon from silicone rubber, filled with saline solution
- valve unit
The volume of balloon filling is 0,5–2 ml.
The length of the catheter is up to 140 mm. |
Set of elastic implants for sclero-plastic surgery of retinal detachment
Developed by JSC MEDSIL in collaboration with Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Eye Diseases RAMS (prof. N.N.Pivovarov, prof. T.A.Bagrasarova)
 |
Scleroimplants, monolithic or porous, created by Joint-Stock Company MEDSIL have been used in domestic ophthalmology since 1983. The original design and the properties of silicone rubber allow to perform various operations of eye surgery successfully and without complications and to reduce the time of patient’s staying in hospital considerably. The percentage of adjointments of detached retina has increased with severe form of the disease.
